According to papers revealed in the ongoing Bethesda vs. Interplay court case, Bethesda is hard at work on a "World of Warcraft type MMO", and this since 2006. The project involves "close to a hundred people" and the budget is estimated at "tens of millions of dollars".

We know this from an anonymous source who spoke with VG247, and leaves us with just a few doubts about the theme of the MMO. The first thing that comes to mind is an Elder Scrolls MMO, something that is very likely to happen. Also, Bethesda owns the domain http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/ since 2007.

It's unlikely that this MMO may be Fallout, since the legal battle for the rights - owned by Interplay - is far from over.

We hope that the announcement won't take long.
