Aion - multiplayer gamesChina's Ministry of Culture has new regulations for minors and online games, mostly focusing on microtransactions.

According to GameSpot, the new rules force online players need to register with their real names, restricting minors from buying or selling items with virtual currencies, although they can still buy products or services.

Developers will have to implement new techniques to limit gaming time, so that kids won't become addicted, a situation that is more frequent in China and other Asian countries. MMO games that feature themes such as pornography, cults, superstition, gambling and violence also need to have a system to prevent children to play them.
